Stutter On | Sunday Sonnet

In all the world, I have not seen,
A light as bright as yours.
You fill my heart, my every dream;
You lead my ships to shore.

I cannot find the words sometimes;
My lips forsake the truth.
When I want my love to know, my lines,
Are locked up in my youth.

If a stutterer I am, my dear,
Then stutter on I shall.
I do not have the time for fear;
Only the time to love my pal.

If you could fall for your best friend;
I know she’ll be here ’till the end.
